TRAINING SPECIALTIES
Juvenile Justice Reform– In alignment with Juvenile Justice reform in Michigan, Gabrielle has taught best practices for detention and residential care in Juvenile Justice settings for the past 8 years and is available to train in the following areas:
Alzheimer’s and Dementia– Gabrielle provided training for the 2010 Elder Advocacy Conference in Southfield, Mi. Training focused on non-verbal forms of communication and self-expression with Dance/Movement therapy being the modality of choice.
Foster Care– Gabrielle has provided training in Dance/Movement Therapy to foster care agencies to expand expressive arts therapy assessment and interventions.
Parent Training-Gabrielle has trained parents in Active Parenting techniques to address high risk behaviors such as truancy, drug use and early sexual activity.

SUPERVISION: Gabrielle offers supervision for the following:
LLPC-Gabrielle meets all criteria to provide clinical supervision to Limited Licensed Professional Counselors in Michigan. Gabrielle also has opportunities for clinicians to gain their 3000 hours of clinical work experience through Grow in Motion. Gabrielle brings the same passion she has for psychotherapy and training to her work as a supervisor. Supervisees will learn, from in-person or virtual sessions, multiple approaches to psychotherapy and theoretical models. Gabrielle collaborates with the supervisee to ensure they are represented throughout the supervision process and their short and long-term needs are met. Supervisees will learn and practice not only the skills to be an effective, ethical counselor but also a practice owner down the road.
Dance/Movement therapist-Gabrielle is a BC-DMT, therefore, is able to provide supervision to Registered Dance/Movement Therapists from anywhere in the world. The R-DMT will benefit from 25 years of experience in the facilitation of DMT in a plethora of settings.
